Four by Three to EP, Distribute ‘The Dirty People’
CINCINNATI, OH — Late last week, Four by Three entered an agreement to Executive Produce and Distribute Darius Dudley’s upcoming dark comedy The Dirty People.
The Dirty People is a dark comedy/thriller about Mia, a drug dealer from a well-off suburb, who returns home to find that most of the people in her life are also harboring secrets just as dirty as her own. After accidentally killing a man in front of her childhood home, Mia scrambles to hide the body all while dealing with a cheating boyfriend keen to her secrets, an abusive mother, and a side piece experiencing a bad acid trip. The story is meant to be consistently suspenseful and tense, all while examining the nature of dysfunctional relationships. The film’s production is taking place in this Winter in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Dirty People was written by Darius Dudley, with Dudley also directing. Jasmine Walker and Liz White are set to produce the feature. Frequent Four by Three collaborator, Paul Fierst (The Rest of Your Life, Shooting Doves) is set to DP. Chase Crawford, Steven Baer and DaMarco Thomas will serve as Executive Producers on the project.
“On the surface, The Dirty People is a film about people involved in salacious and immoral activities, and while it is definitely about that, what I’m really trying to explore with this movie is the nature of dysfunctional relationships.” said Darius Dudley.
Dudley, Walker, White and Fierst are in their final year at University of Cincinnati and hope to parlay The Dirty People into a career in the film industry post-graduation.

The filmmakers are currently raising their final funds on Kickstarter and sitting at about 50% of their goal.
