Four by Three acquires Rob Willey’s ‘River Road’
Four by Three has acquired the distribution rights to Rob Willey’s Leo Award-winning feature film River Road.
A gritty independent drama/thriller, River Road follows a rock musician and a free-spirited woman start an intense relationship which soon spirals into a world of drug addiction and crime.
The film was written and directed by Rob Willey and stars Cody Kearsley (Riverdale, Power Rangers, Daybreak) and Lexi Redman (Concrete Evidence).
The cast is rounded out by Aaron Pearl (Lost in Space), Melanie Rose Wilson (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), Primo Allon (Altered Carbon, Godzilla) and Steven Roberts Leo Award-winning performance as Fresno, the intimidating local drug kingpin who takes shit from no one.
River Road has been accepted into several film festivals, including the Toronto Independent Film Festival, and it was recently nominated for 7 Leo Awards (Academy Awards of British Columbia) including:

River Road is set for a limited theatrical release in the United States and Canada, with The Vic Theatre in Victoria, British Columbia and The Cinematheque Theater in Vancouver, British Columbia confirming before this press release.
River Road is set to hit Apple TV and other streaming platforms following its theatrical run.
Rob Willey is a filmmaker based in Vancouver, British Columbia. His debut film Dark Cove premiered at the Hot Springs International Thriller/Horror Film Festival and has been receiving critical acclaim for it’s gritty realness and impressive cinematography. Influenced by generation X auteur filmmakers such as David Fincher, Paul Thomas Anderson and Steven Soderbergh, Willey is looking to achieve a new contemporary balance between arthouse and commercial cinema.
